Stephen builds layer on layer of colour and textures, creating depth and insight and an emotional connection that is hard to resist. Stephen, like many artists of his calibre does not seek to explain, define or analyse his art, but invites the viewer to explore, engage and interpret, sometimes finding the work harmonious, sometimes unsettling but always dramatic.
Stephen’s work is in private collections throughout the UK and New Zealand. Since becoming a full time artist, he has experimented with different mediums creating an impressive body of work and winning accolades and awards along the way.
