Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th March 2010 (10am - 4pm)

The Waitakere Artists' Open Studio weekend will take place on Saturday and Sunday March 27 & 28, 2010 from 10am - 4pm. Artists from throughout Waitakere City will open their home studios or gather in cluster groups for the public to view their work, purchase art pieces and see artists in action. There will be plenty to see and do including sculpture workshops, woodturning and pottery demonstrations.
 
Pick up a brochure from any of the participating studios and Galleries or from local libraries and CAB's or by contacting Waitakere City Council. This is the largest art event for Waitakere City for the year.
 
FREE! Visit as many studios as you wish.

Alternatively, take part in one or more of the planned bus tours visiting 5 home studios.
(two bus tours available per day) These will be departing from Corban Estate Arts
Centre at 10.30 am and 1.30 pm both days (2 1/2 hour duration).
Limited tickets $15. Bookings recommended.  Ph 09 836 8000 ext 8934 for bookings.
Tickets can be collected from Corban Estate Arts Centre main Gallery on the day.
 
A poster, brochure and map will be available to view and download in early 2010.
