About Michael … English born, NZ educated. Michael completed a Diploma of Graphic Art and worked for TVNZ’s newsroom graphics department in his early working life. As his passion grew for painting, he moved on to complete his Diploma of Fine Art at Elam while working in the restoration Department of the Auckland City Art Gallery and continuing to paint into the night.
His first solo exhibition was held in a basement gallery in Auckland’s K’Rd.Among his achievements, Michael has created challenging and exciting commission work - including a large stage façade mural for the Nambassa Music Festival; large panel murals for the Future of Auckland exhibit at the Auckland War Memorial Museum, and an interior mural for Progressive Music Recording Studios.

Michael has exhibited in both solo and group shows through out New Zealand and now paints full time.
